Least of These International was founded by Reed Barton and Justin Henriques in April 2005. Justin and Reed met on their first day as freshman at James Madison University . Their very first conversation was about the needs of the poor. Out of their passion about caring for the impoverished as a demonstration of Christ's love, the idea for Least of These was born. Their undergraduate education in an applied science degree (Integrated Science and Technology) originally equipped them with a necessary broad set of skills and knowledge pertaining to energy and the role of energy in society, from renewable energy (solar, wind, etc.), to internal combustion engines, fossil fuel combustion, and infrastructural aspects of energy distribution and production in a country / people group. It is our desire that people's lives be positively changed and Jesus Christ receive the honor and glory for it.
